Welcome to the HAPTC website.
We anticipate that the information you find within the website will be helpful as you are in the process of evaluating prospective internship sites. We believe that our internship program offers a wide array of practice experiences, unique didactic training opportunities, and benefits that provide a collegial atmosphere conducive to both professional and personal development.
HAPTC is an Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) member internship consortium that consists of a wide variety of training sites in predominantly rural areas of Missouri. Many of the sites within HAPTC are also designated as National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repayment sites that are potentially available for interns and residents following the completion of formal training (based upon application to and selection by NHSC).
